The scope of an AI solution often starts in a narrow area and expands to a larger area over time, thus requiring more data. Complex solutions often target multiple answers and require more data to support the branch solution set, resulting in complex/mixed results. As the scope of decisions, actions, and outcomes spans more scenarios, both within and outside the organization, more data will need to be captured to understand each scenario and its interactions. Each of these scenarios may change and deform at a different rate and, therefore, require more data.
